From my foundation art and design course in the UK, I went on to study fresco restoration, history of art and life drawing in Florence Italy. Then I travelled to learn traditional Yoruba carving with Sagun Falaye at the Nike Gallery in Oshogbo in Nigeria. Returning to London I joined Candid Gallery Studios Old Street London and started to work on private commissions and exhibited at the Society of Women Artists SWA annual exhibition as well as exhibiting at the South Bank Centre London.
I was drawn to the traditions of European woodcarving techniques and after work experience at Herbert read UK I went to San Francisco California to work for Paul smith studios on return to the UK I worked at Paul Ferguson workshop London ec1. Then onto join Roy Coltherd workshop UK before running my own studio in the UK then in Sydney.
